چکیده

Asthma is one of the most common noninfectious chronic diseases characterized by type II inflammation. This study aimed to investigate effects molecular hydrogen on pathogenesis asthma. OVA sensitized asthma mouse model and house dust mite treated 16HBE cellular were established hydrogen/oxygen mixture was used treat asthmatic mice cells. Serum BALF cytokines measured with specific ELISA assays. E-cadherin ZO-1 detected immunohistochemical staining expression caspase 3 9, NF-κB, IL-33 ST2 assessed quantitative real-time PCR, western blot and/or immunofluorescence. promoter activity analyzed dual-luciferase assay. ILC2 population assayed flow cytometry differentially expressed miRNAs using miRNA array. levels other alarmin greatly increased inhibited H2 in mice. The NF-κB (p65) upregulated suppressed H2. markedly OVA-induced mice, such increase airway tissues significantly lower than that control reduction recovered treatment. alleviated HDM induced apoptosis cells, upregulation ST2, elevation activity. A group + cells identified. These data demonstrated efficient suppressing allergen-induced could be developed as a therapeutics for conditions

Qingfei Xiaoyan Wan alleviates asthma through multi-target network regulation

BACKGROUND Qingfei Xiaoyan Wan (QFXY), a traditional Chinese formula, is widely used for relieving cough, asthma, upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, and etc. in clinic. Comparing with other anti-asthma drugs, it is characterised with moderate and persistent efficacy as well as few side effects, however, the underlying action mechanism still remains elusive. This study aim...

IL-33 Attenuates Sepsis by Inhibiting IL-17 Receptor Signaling through Upregulation of SOCS3.

BACKGROUND/AIMS Sepsis is a systemic inflammatory response during infection. There are limited therapeutic options for sepsis patients. Interleukin (IL)-33 has been reported recently with a beneficial effect in mouse sepsis. METHODS In this study, we initiated a clinical study to measure serum levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines including IL-33 in sepsis patients. Next, we employed cecal lig...

Retraction: Naringin Alleviates Diabetic Kidney Disease through Inhibiting Oxidative Stress and Inflammatory Reaction

Naringin, a flavanone glycoside extracted from Citrus grandis Osbeck, has a wide range of pharmacological effects. In the present study we aimed at demonstrating the protective effect of naringin against diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and elucidating its possible molecular mechanism underlying. The beneficial effect of naringin was assessed in rats with streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetes and ...

Targeting the IL-12/IL-23 axis

Combination immune checkpoint blockade has demonstrated significant clinical responses in cancers infiltrated by T cells. Many tumors contain high proportions of myeloid cells and these can secrete immunosuppressive cytokines like IL-23. Our data suggest the clinical potential of using anti-CD40 (push) and anti-IL-23 mAbs (pull) to tip the IL-12/23 balance in established tumors and act as an al...
